Jackie has been committed to putting her clients’ interests first for more than 35 years. She holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation and earned a B.A. from Virginia Tech University.
Highly passionate about the betterment of the community, Jackie serves as chairman for the Virginia Tech Carillion School of Medicine and Research Institute, member (former chair) of the investment committee for the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro, a board member of the Frank Family Foundation, and a trustee at the Institute of World Politics Graduate School in Washington, DC. She was also past chair of the board for the Women’s Resource, past trustee for Bennett College, and a gubernatorial appointee for the North Carolina’s Financial Literacy Commission. In 2012, she was appointed by the governor-elect to serve on the transition team for tax reform.
Additionally, Jackie was the past president and board member for the Friends for an Earlier Breast Cancer Test, past treasurer and board member for the Women’s Professional Forum’s Foundation, trustee for the YWCA Endowment Committee, board member of visitors for LifeSpan, and an executive committee member for the Virginia Tech’s Women, Leadership & Philanthropy Council. Her past positions include: vice president of the board for the Piedmont Triad Sickle Cell Anemia, chair of the Governmental Liaison Committee for the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce, treasurer for the YWCA board of directors, and chair for the Multiple Sclerosis Corporate Achievers.
Jackie and her husband, Bruce, reside in Greensboro and have been married for 27 years.
Karla Johnson
Financial Advisor
Karla has nearly 10 years of investment industry experience and is passionate about guiding her clients toward their financial goals. Prior to joining Stifel, she was Managing Director at Principal Financial Group. In addition to being a financial advisor, she specialized in wealth strategies involving premium financed life insurance for business valuations, buy-sell agreements, and succession planning. Karla was a scholar student-athlete in soccer at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in her class.
Following graduation, Karla was a finalist on “The Voice” and moved to Nashville to pursue a singing career. She was recognized as “The Best New Act in Country Music” after winning the national finals of the Colgate Country Showdown. After three years of performing, she decided to pursue her other passion – investments and finance.
After living in Nashville for the past 12 years, Karla and her family are excited to be back in North Carolina. Karla is an active member of the UNCG Planned Giving Network of Professional Advisors and enjoys contributing to the Piedmont Triad Charitable Foundation’s “Live Music Vibe” initiative. She has found a unique comfort in calling Greensboro home again with her UNCG and North Carolina family ties. Karla resides in Greensboro with her husband, Taylor, and their two daughters, Charlie and Harper.
Donna S. Miller

Donna has more than 30 years financial services experience. She began her career in the life insurance industry with Jefferson Pilot and Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company. Beginning in 1997, she served as Client Service Associate with Interstate Johnson Lane, Wachovia Securities, A.G. Edwards, and Wells Fargo Advisors.
Donna has been married to her husband, Greg, for 22 years. They have one son, Nicholas, and are members of Westover Church. She enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, and taking deep sea fishing trips.
